GMMTV artist ‘Victor’ Chatchawit Techarukpong has left the media company.
In a brief message on his social media pages, ‘Victor’ says he was “thankful” to GMMTV for “always giving me opportunities and kindness”. The posts are accompanied by four pictures, including one with GMMTV managing director Tha Sataporn.
“Without that day, there will be no today,” he adds, referencing his earlier days acting in series like Room Alone and U-Prince.
‘Victor’ was signed to GMMTV in 2014, where he worked on the soundtracks to several shows, before being asked to host other TV programmes.
He most recently starred in GMMTV’s Cooking Crush the Series, where he played the supporting role of Changma. He also had a stint hosting the long-running Wow Thailand!
‘Victor’ is the latest artist to leave GMMTV in recent months. In January this year, ‘Mike’ Chinnarat Siriphongchawalit and ‘Fluke’ Pusit Dittapisit both announced they would not be renewing their contracts with the company.
Other recent high-profile exits include former 2gether the Series star ‘Bright’ Vachirawit, who left to form his own company Cloud9 Entertainment.
