It has been 25 years since China Dolls burst into the scene with their brand of infectious pop, and to mark the occasion, the duo have dropped new music – with some help from a pair of twins in Taiwan.
Called SisterSister, the song features Taiwanese duo K.RBros, made up of twin brothers ‘Monday Ray’ Rays Hsu and ‘Keelong’ Hsu. It’s a techno-heavy track with an ultra-catchy chorus and very Tiktok-friendly dance moves.
Indeed, the MV reminds us that even after 25 years, ‘Bell’ and ‘Hwahwa’ still have got the moves in them, and the duo prove why they were the standard bearers of Y2K T-pop.
China Dolls first burst into the T-pop scene in 1999 with their first album หมวยนี่คะ [I Am Chinese Girl] and gave the world the unforgettable smash hit of the same name.
They followed up with their second album China More, which contained the smash hits H.N.Y andโอ๊ะ โอ๊ะ โอ๊ะ.
The girls were also part of 2002 ราตรี alongside Katreeya English and ‘Jenny’ Jennifer Politanont and ‘Ya Ya Ying’ Rhatha Phongam.
