Thi-O & Tutor have announced they have split following the expiry of their contracts with 2Flow Entertainment.
The split, confirmed on their respective social media accounts, comes almost a year since their formation. ‘Thi-O’ Thamm Kuansongtham and ‘Tutor’ Weerarit Manaprasertsak were the top two trainees from the idol survival show The Two, which aired on WorkpointTV.
‘Thi-O’, in a post on X (formerly known as Twitter), thanked his agency 2Flow Entertainment for their support. He also thanked the fans: “Thank you for being the fuel to my passion and creativity.”
And to his bandmate, ‘Thi-O’ said: “You have been kind and understanding towards me from the start. Thank you for accepting me and for working beside me tirelessly to create the art we deem is good enough to share with everyone.”
He added: “We both know what happened but no matter what, I believe we’ll grow in our own ways.”
‘Tutor’ added in a separate statement: ” I will always be here to support you no matter what happens…no matter what, we will always be friends.”
After winning the idol survival show, the duo released Move On, their debut single. Their final single before disbanding was a holiday-themed special single, Winter Time.
The duo have confirmed they will be taking on solo projects. ‘Thi-O’ on 21 March unveiled a teaser for his solo project, writing: “Get ready for what’s next.”
‘Tutor’ meanwhile will announce his solo project on 22 March.
