You might have seen the Tiktok video: in the background is a frenzy of fans swarming music star Jackson Wang, and in the foreground, an unsually calm middle-aged man films himself – and the mob behind him.
As Wang moves closer, he notices the man and his camera, and in a confused manner looks right into camera, and moves on.
The man behind (or in front of) the camera is Deechatchai (@deechatchai on Tiktok), who is now back in the spotlight following an Instagram post by country singer Joey Phuwasit.
Joey posted a photo of him with Deechatchai on 2 April, with an accompanying caption: “I have the merit of taking a photo with you”.
As it turns out, fans who found Deechatchai’s Tiktok account soon realised the man has had encounters with many, many more artistes. Apart from Wang, other international stars featured include Troye Sivan, DJ Snake and Paris Hilton.

Joey is not the only Thai artiste too: Deechatchai has posed for photos with the likes of ‘Bird’ Thongchai McIntyre, Nont Tanont and The Toys, as well as with bands like Potato and Bodyslam.

An enviable slate of whos-who indeed.
It is unclear how Deechatchai has gotten access to these artistes. Some netizens have speculated he could be working as a security officer, and so would be in close proximity to the artistes. Others wondered if he ran an events company that hosts these stars.
Either way, the man’s Tiktok account (he doesn’t appear to be on Instagram yet) is seeing a steady stream of curious fans, eager to check out which celeb he next crosses paths with.
