GNEST boy group PERSES has hinted at returning to Jakarta in July to attend the Thai Festival Jakarta event.
The group revealed this at their first-ever fan-meeting (PERSES Fancon: The Next PIECES) in Jakarta on 13 June.
For now it is unclear if more T-Pop acts will be heading to the Indonesian capital.
Thai Festival Jakarta – organised by the Royal Thai Embassy in Jakarta – takes places on 10-12 July at Central Park Mall. More details
The Thai Festival Jakarta is the latest of such events to feature T-Pop acts. Thai Festival Tokyo, which took place in early May, featured a stacked line-up of T-Pop acts like LYKN, DEXX, NuNew, flower.far and Zon Marie.
Similarly, the Sawasdee Seoul Thai Festival, which takes place on 20 and 21 July, features groups like DICE, PiXXiE and CLO’VER.
The entertainment line-up for Thai Festival Singapore, which takes place on 10-12 July, has not been revealed, but the event traditionally has never had any T-Pop acts performing.
