1. Hit Me Up – Timethai
This track is everything Songkran is: wet, barebodied dancing and lots, and lots of water. Oh, and those teasing lyrics! If you are dropping this track at a house party, just remember to water proof everything.
2. ดวงจันทร์ (MOON) – New Country X FIRZTER
New Country’s lukthung influence on this track gives it a fun edge, without taking too much away from FIRZTER’s sensual vibes – perfect for a post-Songkran intimate date.
3. รบกวนเอ็นดู – New Country X PROXIE
Another lukthung-inspired beat suited for Songkran, another song to ask for someone’s number in the midst of all the water-splashing, but this time a bit more polite and cute.
4. Charm – LYKN
Like Timethai, the boys of LYKN (and GMMTV’s Pond and Joong) are not holding back with the waterworks (or the barebodies!). The catchy chorus has us singing along and those slick moves get us right into the groove.
5. เชพบ๊ะ 2024 – Twopee
‘Hi’ Apaporn’s เชพบ๊ะ gets a twerk-worthy reboot just in time for Songkran. Get in your most colourful garb, crank the volume up to 100 and, เชพบ๊ะ, บ๊ะ, บ๊ะ!
6. ฟ้ารักพ่อ (DILF) – Badmixy
A little irreverent and a whole lotta camp – Badmixy’s iconic bop is perfect for those of us longing for some sugar this Songkran.
7. เมร่อน – JUEPAK feat จ๊ะ นงผณี x GUNNER
Fancy a melon or two? This Songkran-themed track – written by BADMIXY – features water-guns, hotbods and plenty of drunken shenanigans. Come for the melons, stay for the infectious beat!
8. นี่นะคะ (I’m Here!) – MXFRUIT
The girls from MXFRUIT add a dash of summer to their second single I’m Here! And we are here indeed for the feel good vibes – great track for a Songkran by the beach!
9. โคตรซิ่ง – แจ๊ส สปุ๊กนิค ปาปิยอง กุ๊กกุ๊ก (Jazz Sputnix Papiyong Kookkook)
The trance-like chorus makes this track – by JSPKK – a good choice for a post-Songkran dance-off.
10. ธาตุทองซาวด์ (Thatthong Sound) – YOUNGOHM
This was *the* Songkran soundtrack of 2023, but we think it still remains fresh a year later. Youngohm’s cleverly written rap lines pair perfectly with the visual spectacle that is the music video.
11. HEY HEY 🙌🏻🙌🏻 – MILLI X ‘Hi’ Apaporn Nakornsawan
Released just in time for Songkran, this track featuring ‘Hi’ Apaporn Nakornsawan has raked in more than 1 million views on Youtube within 24 hours! (Read ChaPop’s review of the track here.) Will this banger be crowned the Songkran 2024 anthem of the year?
