T-Pop headliners like Getsunova, 4EVE and Tilly Birds will be making their way to Malaysia for the first-ever Banyak Bagus Festival.
The two-day music festival will be held at Kuala Lumpur’s Mines International Exhibition & Convention Centre on 4-5 May, and features 14 acts from across Southeast Asia, including Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines and of course, Thailand.
There will be six T-Pop acts in total: Gene Lab’s Tilly Birds and Riser Music’s ‘Nanon’ Korapat will feature on the first day’s line-up, while XOXO Entertainment’s 4EVE and ATLAS, as well as Getsunova and LYKN will perform on Day 2.
It will also be the first time several of the artistes, including the likes of Getsunova, ATLAS and 4EVE are performing in Malaysia.
The festival comes amid a growing push to bring T-Pop and Thai entertainment to a global audience.
Banyak Bagus Festival promises “a unique fusion of ASEAN’s musical richness, showcasing the best talent from Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand and the Philippines”.
Other regional acts include Dolla (Malaysia), Zack Tabudio (Philippines), as well as Lyodra (Indonesia).
The indoor festival runs from 3pm to 10pm (Malaysia time) on both days, and is a free-standing event.
