Pop veteran ‘Tor’ Saksit is collaborating with ‘Daou’ Pittaya on an upcoming album PIANO&i The Bakery Songbook.
The former LAZ1 member will feature on the album’s first track to be released on 13 June.
Tor will also be working with former labelmates B5 on the new album. The collaborations will culminate in a concert, ‘Piano & i X Bakery Music’, to be held on 31 August.
On social media, fans thanked Tor for featuring Daou among the album’s new line-up. “Thank you for seeing his talent and potential, and for giving him opportunities since the first time you met,” one wrote on X (formerly known as Twitter).
Daou appeared on Tor’s Piano&i Youtube series in July 2023, performing eight songs, including several in Mandarin. At that point, he was still a member of LAZ1.
Following the video’s release, netizens were impressed by Daou’s vocals, with one even remarking that the performance changed his impression of T-Pop boy groups.
The Piano&I Youtube series has seen the appearance of many T-Pop stars, including Billkin, Tilly Birds lead singer ‘Third’ Anuroth, as well as NuNew. The most recent episode features fan favourite ‘Fourth’ Nattawat.
