New music this week (10-16 June)

1. Cry More Baby – Pretzelle

Pretzelle’s comeback single carries their signature upbeat sound, but this time, the 54 Entertainment group added a dash of sass (and empowerment) to their lyrics (You don’t have me baby / from now on it’s you who will cry).

2. Sexy Girl – Tobii

You might remember Swiss-Thai rapper Tobii from Tiktok, when one of his earlier tracks แถวนี้อันตราย went viral on the platform. Now, the DefJam rapper is back with Sexy Girl, a slick R&B track reminiscent of Timethai in the 2010s.

3. ดั่งวาดฝันเสมอมา (It’s you) – Gemini x Fourth

The ever-popular duo of ‘Gemini’ Norawit and ‘Fourth’ Nattawat from Riser Music finally reunite for the soundtrack to their GMMTV series My Love Mix-Up! The MV sees them singing (and dancing!) – in traditional Thai costume – definitely a treat for the fans.

4. ไม่ให้ไป – Three Man Down

Three Man Down’s first single for this year tugs at the heartstrings with its themes of family and love – no wonder the MV trended barely a day after its release.

5. Now and Ever – James Alyn

James Alyn is back with his first solo comeback following the disbandment of HYBS. In an interview with ChaPop, the 29-year-old says the song is an ode to loving someone now and forever.

6. เส้นที่เธอขีดไว้ (Parallel) – Pentor Jeerapat

Pentor Jeeerapat is back with his third single, a melancholic track about wanting to be more than friends. In the MV the former LAZ1 member plays an alien that crashed into earth, and grows feelings for the man caring for him. As one Youtube commenter says: “We need a BL (boys-love) series based on this MV!”

7. ไม่คิดว่าจะเจ็บขนาดนี้ – First Anuwat

First Anuwat’s newest single takes us back to high school love – and the pain associated with losing love.
