Actor-singer Bright Vachirawit has postponed his upcoming Home Party showcase in Jakarta, citing “personal health issues”.
In a statement, Bright’s agency Cloud9 Entertainment says the one-night concert will be rescheduled to 9 November. The Bright Home Party – Live in Indonesia was to take place on 14 July.
“On this new date, there will be new songs, a fresh concept and more excitement,” the statement adds. Current ticket holders will also have their tickets honoured and updated to the new date.
Cloud9 Entertainment did not elaborate what the health issues were, but according to the singer’s social media, he had recently visited the US, and attended a Burberry event in Bangkok on 25 June.
Jakarta is the second international stop for the Home Party concerts – Bright held a two-night showcase in Tokyo in April. He also organised a first-ever fan meeting in Bangkok on 23 and 24 December 2023.
Bright came under fire earlier after his lacklustre performance at The Kingdoms Concert in early June, where he sang off-key and forgot the lyrics. He has since apologised for the performance, promising to work harder in future.
