GNEST boy group PERSES will mark their second anniversary since debut on 28 September, as they recount their highs over the past two years.

The group made their official debut in 2022 with their first single My Time, a futuristic dance number that “showcases the band’s personality”. What caught many fans’ eyes were not just the group’s stunning looks, it was their impressive dance moves.

As they put it: “In the fiercely competitive T-POP industry, PERSES is one of the boy groups that has successfully… stood out beautifully with their strong stage performance and outstanding dance lines.”

The group, comprising members Krittin, Jung, Palm, Nay and Pluggy, would later take things down a notch, with the feel-good track Touchdown, before bringing the energy up to 100 with Catch The Night, with a gaming-inspired MV that – you guessed it – neatly shows off their dance lines.

It would be their fourth single น่ารักน้อยลงหน่อย (Cuteless) that the group would see their popularity sky-rocket. On Youtube, the MV has garnered over 9 million views since its release in June 2023, and is the first PERSES track to notch 5 million streams on Spotify.

In 2024, the group has so far released one track – the Valentine’s Day ballad คนใกล้ที่คิดไกล (Far Too Close) – and it is unclear if a comeback single is planned for.

Still, the group is unfazed, stressing that what makes them stand out from the pack is their “precision” on stage, and performances “that always has new…designs and new dance moves”.

“Even though (their) schedules…are packed 7 days a week, the 5 of them still practice hard in the courses of singing, rapping, hip-hop dance, jazz, contemporary, B-Boy, and others,” the group states.

The group has toured the international festival scenes too, having been featured in various music festivals and shows overseas. These include at Taiwan’s Golden Melody Awards 2023, T-Pop Showcase 2024 in Tokyo, and more recently at the Tencent Music Entertainment Awards in Macau.
