High Cloud Entertainment has confirmed the departures of five of its artistes, in an unprecedented move that fans have bemoaned.
The record label says on 29 December that soloists Zom Marie, TXRBO, J JAZZSPER and WhaWha, as well as its remaining group Boom Boom Cash, have left the company at the end of their contracts.
It is the most number of artistes to leave High Cloud so far – in September, the label announced the departures of four artistes.
In a statement on Facebook announcing the departures, High Cloud says it supports the five artistes in “finding new paths”.
“May you succeed in your intended paths…and we hope fans will continue to support all five artistes,” the label adds.
High Cloud Entertainment is founded by hip-hop legend F.HERO in late 2020, who remains at the helm. It used to manage other solo acts like PUN and Pearwah Nichaphat.
On Facebook, fans lamented the move, with one adding that it was “a pity” that the label was “already broken”.
