Billkin and PP Krit will make their way to the big screen this March, with the release of their comedy-thriller movie The Red Envelope.

The GDH-produced flick, which marks the first time both Billkin and PP are in a movie together, will be released on 20 March in Thai cinemas.

The Red Envelope is based off the popular Taiwanese flick Marry My Dead Body, a supernatural comedy-mystery about a homophobic police officer who finds a red wedding envelope and finds himself betrothed to the owner of the envelope, a dead gay man.

The Thai remake is produced by horror filmmaker Tong Banjong and is directed by Mu Chayanop of SuckSeed and Friendzone fame. Billkin plays the human, while PP will take on the role as the ghost, says GDH.

The production house adds: “Red envelopes are opening. Love between the living and the dead is beginning.”

Billkin will be making his return to the big screen after the critical success of another GDH film How To Make Millions Before Grandma Dies, where he played the lead role.

The Red Envelope is GDH’s second movie released since the start of the year. On 6 February, it released the girls-love themed Flat Girls.
