With less than a month to go to Big Mountain Music Festival, there is no better time for festival prep than now.

So you’re an inter fan that has gotten your tickets, but you’re not sure what to expect – or even what to bring. ChaPop breaks it down for you.

What is Big Mountain Music Festival?

The 15th edition of Big Mountain Music Festival takes place this year on 6 and 7 December 2025 at The Ocean Khao Yai. It is undoubtedly the country’s largest music festival, and sees attendees from all across Thailand, and a growing number of international fans, like you!

This year’s festival will see over 100 acts, including T-Pop artistes and bands from the region.

What to wear?

Anything goes really – we’ve seen festivalgoers come in cow-print onesies (a nod to the festival’s cow mascot) and cowboy gear. So, the short answer is – dress to your festival best.

Three tips to bear in mind:
Comfortable footwear: getting from stage to stage can be a distance at times, and there may be occasions that you might need to run! Also, some spots (read: toilets) could get muddy, so be warned!
Layer up: nights can chilly, so we think layers work best, like a scarf or a light jacket.
– In light of the year of mourning following the death of the Queen Mother Queen Sirikit, you may be advised against wearing garish colours.

What else to pack?

Apart from your festival garb, it is also important to pack along a good skincare routine. The festival is outdoors, while most of the acts are after sundown, this year’s first set begins at 1pm!

This is where good sunscreen will come in handy: and we recommend the Cute Press Aqua Splash as a handy companion.

The ultra-light sunscreen gel comes with SPF 50+PA+++ to protect your skin from UVA and UVB rays.

Cash: most vendors are cash-only and some also accept payment by QR code. We’ve not seen many vendors that accept credit card payment.
Portable charger: you don’t want a flat battery in the middle of a good set!
Earplugs: don’t say we didn’t warn you, but things can get pretty loud. Protect your hearing and your ears will thank you later.

What else do I need to know?

BMMF is not in Bangkok, which means you will have to find your means of transport to The Ocean Khao Yai.

Organisers have teamed up with private bus company Tae Wa Da (TWD Vans) to provide transportation from Bangkok and Korat to the festival site.

If you are driving, here’s a reference guide (from Suvarnbhumi airport) on how long it could take:

It’s showtime!

There will be 13 stages across seven locations around the festival grounds. The flagship stage is the Ferris Wheel stage, which will be repurposed as the Ferris Hell stage on Day 2.

T-Pop acts will mainly be focused on the dual-use Block/Cow stage this year. This year’s first set kicks off at 1pm, so be there early, and get ready for the best time of your lives.

See you at Big Mountain!
