It’s been called one of the saddest songs to be released, and now it will get just a bit more emotional.

More than a week after releasing their latest single พรุ่งนี้ค่อยเลิกได้ไหม (Last Request), Proxie has dropped a short film – called Wait Until Tomorrow – that will tell the full story behind the original MV.

The 11-minute, 11-second-long film (perhaps a coincidence?) is set in the fictitious ‘Proxie Hotel’, which is a “place you can escape reality”, according to the short film.

Playing the female lead is actress Aokbab Chutimon, while the members play different roles in the hotel, from being the bellboy, to bartender and front desk receptionist.

Each member also lines that link back to the concept of the hotel being a place of escape, such as: “We want you to take a break from the heavy things you’ve been through.”

At the helm of the visually stunning piece is renown director May Apizsara, who wrote and directed the short film. May was also behind the original MV for the track.

Fans lauded the short film for its storytelling and concept, as well as the excellent cinematography, which they felt fleshed out details from the MV better.

Since its release on 13 February, the MV to พรุ่งนี้ค่อยเลิกได้ไหม (Last Request) has garnered over 1.2 million views, marking a good start for the bRothers Music group.
