Organisers of the Summer Sonic Japan music festival have revealed more acts in its growing line-up, including announcing its first two Thai acts.

Jeff Satur and BUS Because of you I shine have been confirmed in the line-up, marking their debut at the two-day music festival.

This year’s Summer Sonic Japan takes place over the weekend of 16 and 17 August, concurrently in Tokyo and Osaka.

Jeff is scheduled to perform at the Osaka edition on 16 August, before heading to Tokyo the next day, while BUS will only be in Tokyo for one day only on 16 August.

Other artistes slated to perform at the festival include Korean acts like (G)I-DLE and aespa, Western artistes like Alicia Keys and Fall Out Boy, as well as Japanese acts like BE:FIRST and Babymetal.

Jeff and BUS are the latest in a line of Thai artistes to feature in the Japanese music festival in recent years, with past names including Violette Wautier, Bright, Milli and Bodyslam.

BUS will also making their debut at this year’s Summer Sonic Bangkok, which is into its second edition. The Bangkok edition takes place a week after Summer Sonic Japan.
