The awards was held on 31 May – a day before the Bangkok Pride Parade – and honours top personalities, companies and individuals across industries.
The results are decided by popular vote, and Sarah received the most public votes, beating other singers such as Badmixy, Ton Thanasit and Aof Pongsak.
In the film category, Paradise of Thorns, which stars singer-actor Jeff Satur and actress Engfa Waraha, edged out other films like The Love of Siam and GDH’s The Red Envelope.
Queer actor Earth Katsamonnat (AKA Cooheart) was voted most popular queer character star at the awards. He dedicated an Instagram post to his win, saying it was his first award ever.
“Don’t be afraid to be yourself. Not being yourself is scarier,” he writes.
This year’s Bangkok Pride parade takes place on 1 June and kicks off a month of celebration of the LGBTQ community.
