It’s been a while, but she’s back: pop-rock legend Palmy has released her latest comeback single Neon.
The single, her latest since April 2025, is a self-written, self-produced track that also showcases the Genie Records soloist in a new light (all pun intended).
Neon features an electro-pop sound that’s distinctly different from Palmy’s signature pop-rock melodies, yet retains the deep, heartfelt songwriting style that fans have grown to love.
According to Palmy, the idea for the song came from wanting to “disguise sadness while not being able to move on”. This is reflected in the song’s opening line: ‘Disguising myself in the soft red light’.
Palmy teamed up with renowned director Directornet for the MV, which features GMMTV’s up-and-comer Emi Thasorn, whose acting has earned plenty of praise from fans.
