Workpoint Group has soft-launched its newest entertainment agency XEBIS Entertainment, with the aim of tapping into the Thai idol industry.
The agency’s social media accounts were openedon 6 June, revealing its logo and its tagline: “Make Pop History”.
Another teaser post on Instagram states: “Idol industry, are you ready?”
Not much is known beyond these posts, but a check on the Instagram account reveals that XEBIS has already followed a number of accounts likely to be its artistes.
These include:
– Inc from Pretzelle, which will be disbanding in mid-June
– Jamier from the now-disbanded boy group PrimeTime
– Kenji, a former trainee in the idol survival show Project Alpha
– Potter, who was an artiste with Level8 Entertainment
– Sonwa and Folk, former contestants on the show To Be Number One
It is unclear for now if XEBIS will be debuting a group, or soloists.
When launched, it will be Workpoint’s second T-Pop focused agency, after XOXO Entertainment, which counts artistes like 4EVE and ATLAS under its stable.
