Four former trainees from the idol survival show Chuang Asia 2 have formed T-Pop’s newest boy group.

SuperThai comprises members Peanut Peeranat, Plengthai Niyomthai, Ninja Aphisit and Tadalee, all of whom competed in Chuang Asia 2 earlier this year.

The members were officially announced on 25 June, and will be releasing their first single on 4 July at midnight Bangkok time. In the lead-up to that, the group will release a series of visuals and spoilers – in addition to member story videos.

The group’s logo was officially unveiled on 23 June, a black and orange logotype reminiscent of a tiger.

“Let’s roar together as we unveil the official SuperThai logo — an energetic new journey is about to begin,” the social media post read.

Apart from being in Chuang Asia 2, the four members each have dabbled in the T-Pop world. Peanut was part of the Thai-Korean boy group THE7 before it disbanded in 2024, while Plengthai was in T-Pop group PrimeTime, which also split the same year.

Ninja was a member of the boy group 4TEEN, and Tadalee was a trainee under BRIQ Entertainment, the label behind NEVONE and Wizzle.
