A new viral dance challenge has gotten some of our T-Pop faves popping on TikTok.
Soda Pop, the infectious bop from the Netflix animated hit KPop Demon Hunters with its iconic dance, has swept all across social media, and T-Pop stars were not spared.
The original performers of the track are a fictitious boy group – Saja Boys – from the series. You can watch it here:
No wonder then, that T-Pop boy groups were quick to hop (or pop?) on the trend, from Sonray groups DICE and BUS, to newly-formed boy group DEXX.
But it was not just boy groups that got into the trend. ChaPop looks at some of the covers:
OTTO, MIN, ALEX DICE
Fans loved this cover how the trio’s movement closely resembled that of the series.
JINWOOK, AA BUS
Staying seated for this cover, but still radiating cuteness are Jinwook and AA from BUS Because of you I shine.
DEXX
In between their debut performances and media engagements, the DMD Music boy group, which only recently formed, found time to get a little Soda Pop in their system.
NANON
Riser Music’s Nanon may not be from a boy group, but that’s not stopping him from bringing on the cuteness, much to the surprise of fans.
ATOM, CHEERS, SONYA VIIS
We love VIIS’ cover for their likeness (especially Sonya) to the animated characters.
