Hip-hop star Milli has been featured on New York’s Time Square, as part of a Spotify billboard to mark the release of her second album Heavyweight.

“Big round of applause for the cool girl Milli who got on the billboard in the middle of New York,” Spotify writes in a social media post.

Milli on 12 July officially released Heavyweight, and held a launch event (involving a tuk-tuk ride around town) and a launch party later that night.

The album features 13 tracks, including the hit One Punch, which references Muay Thai and martial arts. The album is now available on digital streaming platforms.

It is not the Yupp Music artiste’s first time being featured on Spotify’s New York billboards.

In 2021, she was featured as part of Spotify’s EQUAL campaign. That honour has been passed on to labelmate Galchanie, who is now fronting the EQUAL campaign this year.
