Rock legends Slot Machine received the best series OST award at the annual Y Entertain Awards for their work on the Be On Cloud series Shine.
Slot Machine’s Am I in Love beat four other nominees in the category, including NuNew’s เหนือฟ้า (Above) – the soundtrack to The Next Prince series – as well as 5CM by LYKN’s William Jakrapatr (from GMMTV’s ThamePo: Heart That Skips a Beat).
Slot Machine has two tracks on the Shine OST, with the other being Far Side of the Moon.
The OST is helmed by the band’s label TERO Music, with several other TERO artistes, like soloist FrenchW and rock band The Young Wolf, featured.
Shine, which on 20 September aired its last episode, is a LGBTQ+ drama set in a 1960s Thailand experiencing a period of political turmoil. Its star-studded ensemble includes Be On Cloud heavyweights Mile Phakphum and Apo Nattawin, as well as seasoned actors Euro Yotsawat and Son Yuke.
The series was also named best BL (boys-love) series of the year at the Y Entertain Awards, with Mile also taking home a leading actor award.
