Jeff Satur is set to star as the male lead in the upcoming thriller series My Chef In Crime.

The Wayfer Records soloist was revealed as one of the two leads of the series on 30 October, ahead of the screening of the pilot on 6 November.

My Chef In Crime touts itself as the first “food and crime” series to air in Thailand, and is described as “mysterious, well-rounded and full of flavour”.

“Every dish hides a clue, every word reveals the truth,” a teaser for the series reads.

It was first announced in early October that Thai broadcaster TrueVisions would be producing the Thai adaption of the series.

The brief synopsis reads: “My Chef in Crime follows a forensic scientist-turned-chef who becomes the prime suspect in his rival chef’s mysterious death. Using food chemistry and forensic science, he teams up with an investigative police officer to clear his name.”

Jeff plays the role of Chef Chan, with the tagline: “He cooks for justice”. In the teaser, he is seen wielding chef’s knives, slicing through meat (of various kinds).

Starring opposite Jeff is actress Nychaa Nuttanicha, who plays police sergeant Lalit, with the tagline is “She shoots for justice”.

My Chef In Crime, which is slated to air go into production in February 2026 and air later in the year, is supported by Thailand’s Ministry of Culture, as well as the Thailand Creative Culture Agency (THACCA).

The new series comes amid a busy schedule for the actor-singer, who has been touring Asia and Latin America for his Red Giant world tour.

Jeff is also believed to be working on his self-produced crime thriller Happy Ending, but details of its production have been far and few.
