Actor-singer NuNew is set to return to the big screen, as he stars in the musical-comedy ดีว่า..ราวี (Diva La Vie).

The GDH-produced flick will premiere 10 December, and NuNew has been cast as one of several leads in it.

The DMD Music artiste plays the role of Copter, a “prince of T-Pop” (sounds familiar?) who forms part of the Gen Z queer-friendly ‘Takhli Gang’.

While it won’t be NuNew’s first time on the big screen (he starred in the 2023 boys-love movie After Sundown) it will be the first time he is starring in a comedy flick.

The movie also stars actress-model Jacqueline Muench as Plaifun, a legendary diva ready to make her stage comeback.

For her comeback concert, she enlists the help of Copter, as well as rap queen Pitta. P (played queer icon Pingpong Thongchai) and country star Laila (played by Ninew Phetdankaeo).

“The press conference ignites a firestorm, sparking an all-out war between the diva and the idols,” the synopsis reads.

As Takhli Gang, the trio have already released new music, in the lead-up to the movie’s release.

The movie also stars fellow Domundi actor Keng Harit, who also starred in another GDH film The Paradise of Thorns.
