Rock legend Potato has released its latest single, showcasing the band in a (chaotic) new light.
ชีวิตวุ่นวาย sees the Genie Records band work with gamer and streamer Heartrocker. The lyrics lean into dark humour, talking about a chaotic life filled with bad luck at every turn, but also the need to grin and bear it.
Potato plays up this juxtaposition with the track: a cheery pop-rock sound that contrasts sharply with their usual brand of emotive rock.
The lyric video to the single, released late April, also reflects this: the band is dressed in rocker-style outfits, but with their faces adorned with clown paint.
Potato then released the official MV on 1 May, providing a very visual (and relatable) portrayal of a chaotic life, from getting splashed by traffic, to getting gum stuck on your shoe.
The message is clear: ‘Life may be chaotic and unlucky, but we still have to keep going.’ (#facts!)
