Sonray Music boy group BUS because of you I shine has announced the formation of sub-units, with the first to release new music in the coming days.
The 12-member group will be split into two sub-units, now called BUS5, which will debut on 1 May and BUS7, which debuts on 5 June.
The group announced the members of BUS5 through social media on 28 April, and they are: ‘Heart’ Chuthiwat Jankane, ‘Jungt’ T Boonsermsuwong, ‘Marckris’ Kris Kanchanatip, ‘Phutatchai’ Tatchai Limpanyakul, as well as Korean member ‘Jinwook’.
The five members uploaded short video introductions on X (formerly known as Twitter), as they were announced to be part of the sub-unit.
On 27 April, Sonray announced BUS5 will release new music – the group’s third single – on 1 May, while BUS7, comprising the remaining seven members, will release their single in June.
So far, BUS and Sonray have been coy about what the new music would be like, but the group’s fandom – known as BEUS – are already excited about the news. The hashtag #BUS5Unit trended on X for hours after the group member reveal.
BUS was formed in December, comprising contestants of the idol survival show 789 Survival.
