Fresh music round-up (22 – 28 Apr)

It’s a week of new soundtracks, more solo projects, and of course, a bit of heartbreak. Here’s the breakdown of the new releases.

1. Someone Someday – Gorn Proxie

Proxie’s solo projects continue with ‘Gorn’ Wannapairote’s Someone Someday. The single is the third of the group’s solo projects, and its music video also sees Bowkylion add some star power.

2. ไม่ต้องรู้ว่าเราคบกันแบบไหน – Mind 4EVE x D Gerrard

This is the soundtrack to the movie อนงค์ (My Boo), which stars Bow Maylada and ‘Gee’ Sutthirak. 4EVE member ‘Mind’ shows off her vocal prowress in this ballad, blending nicely with D Gerrard’s smooth vocals.

3. ทำใจเก่ง (Great with Goodbyes) – Knomjean

This week’s second OST comes from XOXO Entertainment’s ‘Knomjean’ Kulamas, who returns with ทำใจเก่ง (Great with Goodbyes). Produced by ‘Third’ Tilly Birds, the song’s music video also stars boys-love actor ‘Mew’ Suppasit .

4. อยากชวนเธอมาสนิท (Passerby) – TIGGER

A collaboration between the Bangkok Expressway and Metro department and GNEST, the music video features plenty of scenes shot in the MRT in Bangkok. All the better to encourage people to ride the subway, amirite?

5. อวยพรสุดท้าย (Happy Birthday) – Num Kala

Rock veteran Num Kala is back with this sentimental track aptly called ‘Final Blessing’ in Thai. Set at a birthday party (hence the English title), it’s a story of lost love, forgiveness and bittersweet memories.

6. รอ (ONLY YOU) [Blue space version] – Firzter x Poom ATLAS

The boys of Firzter continue their streak of collabs, this time with ATLAS member ‘Poom’ for their song รอ (ONLY YOU). The eight-minute long video also gives us a peek at what went down during the recording.

7. คำสาปร้าย (The Curse of Love) – Txrbo Ft. Koh Mr. Saxman

With lyrics like If you are a curse / I am ready to die, Txrbo’s newest track sounds like a love letter, maybe just a bit darker.

8. Light It Up (English ver.) – ATLAS

ATLAS has put out an English version of their newest single Light It Up, with the aim of targeting all the international fans. We dig the animated sketches of the boys too!
