New music for the week of 30 September – 6 October

1. Yours Ever – Cocktail Feat. Q Flure

Talk about an epic cameo: Cocktail’s Yours Ever – the band’s final few songs before disbanding – features a gigantic guest, in the form of Godzilla! The band worked with its Japanese counterparts to secure the copyright to use Godzilla for the track, a love song which talks about keeping one’s love no matter the situation.

2. Retro-39 – Tilly Birds

Tilly Birds’ highly-anticipated English follow-up is a real retro treat – and one for us millennials, with its pop culture references. Tilly Birds vocalist Third wrote the lyrics, guitarist Billy is producer, while drummer Milo arranged the track.

3. ชอบตัวเองเวอร์ชันนี้ – fellow fellow

The Kicks Records duo of fellow fellow are back with this easy-listening piece about happy moments. Definitely a track for that road-trip.

4. Jello – Sugar ‘N Spice (SNS)

Sugar ‘N Spice (or SNS for short) are LiT Entertainment’s newest girl group. Their debut single Jello is a perfect blend of sugar and spice (and maybe everything nice too!) We are definitely looking out for more good things to come from the five-member group.

5. Oh My! – ALLY

Ally’s chill-R&B track is a great vibe for a night out. Plus – the music video features the electrifying star power of Riser Music soloist Fourth Nattawat.

6. ปากบอกไม่เป็นอะไร (Pretend) – G-ERA

A comeback straight from the 2010s – you might remember the girl group G-TWENTY, who debut in 2010 but went silent about five years later. Now in 2024, the group is back with ปากบอกไม่เป็นอะไร (Pretend). They might be much older now, but the group definitely still has T-Pop in their blood.
