Riser Music actor-singer Fourth Nattawat has received the award for Best Music Video at the annual Asian Television Awards, for the MV to his single Candidate.

Fourth beat out seven other nominees in the region – including those from Thailand – to win the top honour.

Writing on social media after news broke, the 20-year-old says he was grateful for the “precious award”.

“It means a lot to me. Also, this is a very good beginning of my T-Pop journey. Please stay tuned for more!” adds Fourth.

As at time of writing, Candidate gained over 8.9 million views on Youtube. The song has also received chart success following its release in February.

In total, three Riser Music artistes were nominated in the best music video category: apart from Fourth, the other two were Gemini Norawit for Too Close To Handle, and boy group LYKN for ฉ่ำ (Charm).
