T-Pop’s newest boy group made their debut on 5 October, amid a packed showcase attended by industry peers and fans.

The six-member CIR*CRL (pronounced ‘circle’) also released their debut single Want It Now, and gave fans a treat with the first live performance of the single.

CIR*CRL is a six-member boy group from the MChoice agency, comprising former trainees Sam, Leon, Phee, Pie, Ben and Tutor. The group name was announced by MChoice on 29 September, days after it confirmed the six would be debuting as a boy group.

The group’s debut showcase – held at Bangkok’s centralw0rld – was attended by other T-Pop boy groups like Proxie members Gun and Kim, DICE members Obo, Jisang and Alex, as well as the members of Trinity.

The cast of Gelboys – New Chayapak, Pide Monthapoom and PJ Mahidol – also attended.

The boys were seen hyping the new group up, especially Leon, who was also apart of the Gelboys cast.

Also present was Thi-O from pan-Asian group NEXT1DE. He was formerly from the pop duo Thi-O and Tutor before they parted ways in 2024.

Since its release on 5 October, Want It Now earned praise from fans for its stunning MV.

The MV is a visual treat, with its slick editing and use of CGI. According to MChoice, the production was a collaboration between Thailand creative studio Birkin Visual and Vietnam’s AntiAntiArt.

The track is produced by Korea-based Tony Oh, who hails from the music publisher Jam Factory. Trinity’s Porsche (known also by his XX alias), is credited as the track’s Thai producer.
