The Muzik Move boy group ZOLAR is disbanding, in a shock announcement that dropped late 4 February.

In the statement, Muzik Move and artiste agency Search Entertainment said the 12 members’ contracts were terminated effective immediately.

No reason was given for the move.

The group will, however, continue with three scheduled events later this month, including a performance at the SSRU Queen pageant on 7 February.

“Throughout the time we have worked together, we have greatly appreciated the determination, dedication and efforts of all ZOLAR members in delivering their best performances and results,” the label adds.

Zolar made its debut – as a 13 member group – in 2023 after the talent search show Star Search Idol.

In 2025, it confirmed the departure of member Paul Bhuri, which followed the latter’s brief hiatus from showbiz.

The group in December released what would now be their final single, the ultra-catchy สะกิด (Tap Me)

On social media, ZOLAR members thanked their fans for the support, urging them to take care of themselves.

Still, fans were blindsided by the decision, with many noting the label’s long period of silence before the abrupt announcement.
