NEVONE member Prom has left the group, throwing doubt into the group’s future following a prolonged period of silence.
In a message posted on social media, the 21-year-old Prom says he also left RS Music on 3 April, the same day he stepped down from the group. NEVONE is managed by RS’ sub-label BRIQ Entertainment.
“During this time, I’ve learned so much and created so many great memories…These experiences mean a lot to me and will always stay with me,” Prom wrote.
He also thanked his fellow group members – Tawan, Yoshi and Thankhun – “for the friendship and the journey we’ve shared together”, as well as his label.
Prom also expressed his gratitude to the group’s fandom – known as Vendy – for their support and encouragement.
“As I begin this new chapter, I will continue to work hard and do my best to create even better work for everyone,” he added.
Prom made his debut with the four-member NEVONE in 2024, as part of BRIQ’s new slate of artistes. The label also manages girl group Wizzle and soloist D-NA.
Prom was a former trainee in GMMTV’s Project Alpha idol survival programme, but did not make it to the finals.
His departure now adds to uncertainty about NEVONE’s future. The group has been largely silent for the past few months, having not released any music for over a year.
Fans have expressed concern over the future of BRIQ’s artistes, noting none of them have put out any music in recent months.
