Kicks Records soloist guncharlie may be known as the prince of heartbreak anthems, but he takes a break from sadness with his latest release, the heartfelt new love song ส่วนหนึ่งของชีวิต (A Part of Me).
guncharlie says the self-written track’s inspiration came from a line in a film: “Important memories are never just memories, they become part of your life”.
ส่วนหนึ่งของชีวิต (A Part of Me) is also one of the fastest songs that guncharlie has written.
“I think it was finished within one or two hours. I remember writing it while walking around a shopping mall. After that, I went back to record a demo and pitched it to the label,” he says.
Fans will notice a stand-out moment in the track’s second verse, where guncharlie cleverly weaves together titles from several of his well-known sad songs, including เผื่อวันไหนเธอจะกลับมา and จากกันโดยสมบูรณ์, transforming melancholy into warmth and nostalgia.

Another interesting bit about the song is that guncharlie never directly uses the word “love”.
According to guncharlie, that decision was intentional: “I prefer expressing love through other phrases and emotions instead of saying the word directly. It feels more romantic to me, like showing love through actions rather than speaking it out loud.”
