Actor-singer BILLKIN is preparing to take “full legal action” against certain netizens for spreading misinformation about him and for invasion of his privacy.
At the same time, the 26-year-old has also clarified a series of social media posts that suggest he is in a relationship with a woman.
In a statement released 14 August, Billkin Entertainment – his agency – says it is currently gathering information and will begin legal proceedings soon.

It states that a group of individuals trailed Billkin’s vehicle to a private location during his personal time “outside of official schedules or events”.
“This behaviour posts a direct threat to the artiste’s safety,” the company states.
It adds: “Furthermore, this same group has disseminated false personal information regarding the artiste, causing damage to his reputation and affecting related individuals.”
The agency is likely referring to a series of videos and photos, uploaded on social media, purportedly showing BILLKIN at what looks like a nightspot, with another woman, and with a group of friends.
The footage, which ChaPop has seen but is unable to verify independently, was also accompanied by commentary that BILLKIN was seeing the woman.
It subsequently caused an uproar among the fandom, with some questioning the video’s authencity. Others were reportedly shocked at the revelation.
Speaking at a press conference on 14 August, BILLKIN clarifies that the woman in the video was a close friend of over 10 years. He adds that he was at a bar with university friends.
On why he is taking legal action this time, he notes that in the past he and his agency have tried to deal with it but it was “difficult”. This incident, he notes, has “pushed it to the limits”.
He also called out the “deliberate intention” by some individuals to mislead others with misinformation.
