Pop-rock band Only Monday has made a musical comeback, releasing their first single since being dropped by their label in 2025 over a long-drawn controversy.

The band on 20 October dropped ดีใจที่ตรงนั้นไม่ใช่เรา, a reflective track about life’s “stories”. It is a classic Only Monday heartbreak anthem, as it talks about “the feeling of watching someone you once loved find true happiness with someone else”.

The single is produced by Only Monday frontman Tee Teepakorn with co-producers Proo Thunwa and Toto Narit. Tee also wrote and composed the track.

Last December, Tee was embroiled in the explicit footage leak controversy that also involved his ex-girlfriend known as ‘Bell’. There were claims he had allegedly leaked the footage online, something he still denies.

The controversy led to the band being kicked out off Gene Lab – their former label which has since changed ownership – and being suspended from all official engagements, with their music temporarily taken down from all streaming platforms.

Only Monday’s music has since been restored online, but the band is now managed independently.

Following the band’s ouster from Gene Lab, Only Monday resumed some gigs after a few months, usually at live music venues across the country. The band has not been invited to perform at any music festival since the controversy.
