Folk-rock artiste Joey Phuwasit will hold his first large-scale concert on 23 November, as he thanks his fans for their support over the years.
The concert will be held at Thunder Dome, Muang Thong Thani, says the Genie Records artiste, who revealed details during the GFest Marathon Concert on 24 August, where he was one of the eight acts of the day.
The news was confirmed by organisers GMM Show, who on 28 August, released ticketing details for the show.
Tickets, which go on sale 1 October on The Concert Application, start at 2,000 THB for standing tickets and go up to 4,500 THB for a VIP package, which includes a meet-and-greet and soundcheck access.
“Come and create an experience on this beautiful day together…(with) the bold, fierce, funny, and cute style of an artist whose charm no one can deny,” says GMM Show.
In the lead-up to the news, Genie Records teased Joey’s concert on its social media channels, with the caption: “From Phon Sai to a big concert. Coming soon.” (Phon Sai is a district in Roi Et province, where Joey hails from)
The teaser was greeted by messages of support from fellow artistes, including big names in the Thai country music scene, like Tai Orathai.
At the GFest Marathon Concert, Joey said this of his upcoming concert: “Speaking from the heart…this is my first big concert in my life, and I want to thank my fans. I want to make this the best-ever in my life.”
