Actor-singer Fourth Nattawat has been admitted to hospital for influenza.

In a statement issued late 8 September, GMMTV says Fourth had been running a high fever and had sought medical treatment. He was then diagnosed with Influenza A.

GMMTV says its statement that Fourth’s condition “has not yet improved” and that he would require rest and recovery.

“All of Fourth’s scheduled activities will be postponed until he fully recovers,” the agency adds.

On X, Fourth’s mother posted a photo of him on a hospital bed, urging him to “keep fighting”.

It is the second time this year that Fourth has taken ill – the Riser Music soloist was also hospitalised in February after having a high fever.

The latest incident comes after a gruelling work schedule: he had just returned from Seoul, where he performed at the Sawasdee Seoul Thai Festival on 7 September.

A week before, Fourth and Gemini held their Gemini-Fourth AWAKE concert at Bangkok’s Impact Arena.

On social media, the diagnosis has attracted an outpouring of support from fans, many of whom praised Fourth for his diligent work ethic, but urged the 20-year-old to rest and recover.
