Kicks Records soloist guncharlie has teamed up with labelmate fellow fellow’s Khao for his latest release, a touching and emotive track about love and loss.
7 นาทีสุดท้าย – from his first album Like You Never Left – is based off the ‘7-minute theory’, which believes that the brain will be active for about seven minutes after someone dies.
As guncharlie puts it: “When we die, our brain will project the important memories of our life for 7 minutes before saying goodbye to this life forever.
“The song states that if this theory is true, then in the last seven minutes, only the image of ‘you’ will appear, because in my whole life, you are the most important thing.”
It is a poignant song that’s right up guncharlie’s alley, and the addition of Khao fellow fellow’s more mature-sounding vocals helps give the track added depth.
The MV for the track is directed by Am Picha, who has worked with guncharlie before on his previous smash hit จากกันโดยสมบูรณ์.
As a special treat for fans, the track features a b-side short film to accompany the MV, as the same story is viewed through different lenses.
In an interview with ChaPop in August, guncharlie also revealed that 7 นาทีสุดท้าย is his favourite track from the album.
