1. Slot Machine enters Singapore
T-Rock legends Slot Machine were in Singapore for a one-night only showcase as part of their Enter To Exit tour. The trio performed a string of English language hits, but it was the encore – with the quintessential Slot Machine hits like ผ่าน and I Say Goodbye – that brought the audience to their feet.

The concert was slated to be held at Singapore’s Capitol Theatres but organisers LiveNation Singapore made an eleventh-hour decision to move the show to a smaller venue, with no explanation given.
2. The Kingdoms Concert ticketing details out now
Following the highly-anticipated announcement of this year’s ‘4 Kings’, organisers of The Kingdoms Concert have released ticketing details, including the seatmap and prices. Tickets for the two-night show – featuring Jeff Satur, Nont Tanont, The Toys and Bright – start from THB 2,000 and go all the way up to THB 7,000. Tickets will go on sale on 30 April, and if our experience with last year’s ‘4 Queens’ concert is anything to go by, stand by your computers early and don’t give up!
3. Spotted in Tokyo: a budding romance?

Singers ‘Bright’ Vachirawit and ‘Nene’ Pornnappan Pornpenpipat were spotted in Tokyo – holding hands and having meals together. Could this be a new romance in the making? Clearly fans of ‘Bright’ – who shot to fame from the boys-love series 2gether – are heartbroken (is that the sound of collective sighs?) but remember, do not send hate to either parties!
4. Wan Love wants new trainees
Wan Love Music may have just launched, but it is already on the hunt for new blood. The BADMIXY-led record label announced it would be holding auditions for new trainees. (To join, you must be between 15 and 35 years old!)
5. Jeff Satur’s Space Shuttle tour lands in Bangkok
After a whirlwind tour of five Asian cities, the ‘Space Shuttle’ now lands in homeground. Jeff Satur played to sold-out crowds for two nights, and those in the audience included Jeff’s former co-stars from KinnPorsche the Series, Violette Wautier, and GMMTV actor ‘Gemini’ Norawit Titicharoenrak. On the first night, Jeff brought on fellow ‘King’ Nont Tanont, and a dance interlude had audience members in awe at Nont’s ability to bust some moves.
And Jeff bettered this on the second night, bringing on girl group 4EVE, and doing some nifty fan work with hot2hot.
6. Babii 24/7 concert turns on the charm
On 20 April, GMMTV’s ‘Off-Gun’ held their ‘Babii 24/7’ concert, which was attended by the who’s-who of the entertainment agency. Adding their Charm were the boys of LYKN, and providing more eye-candy was Riser Music labelmate ‘Fourth’ Nattawat Jirochtikul. The concert was held on the same day as Jeff Satur’s showcase, but thankfully was hours earlier so fans (and possibly the artistes!) could make it to both on the same day.
7. Bowkylion, The Toys, Yourmood take a Journey of Souls
T-Pop has arrived in the US, with Bowkylion and Whattheduck labelmate The Toys taking a three-city tour, along with Whoop Music’s Yourmood. Called ‘Journey of Souls’, the trio played their first night in Los Angeles on 17 April, moving to Chicago on 20 April, and ending in New York a day later. In Los Angeles, the artistes even took time to explore the City of Angels – the one in the US that is.
8. Gunsmile gets gossip mill working overtime
The social media gossip channels went into overdrive once again this week, after actor ‘Gunsmile’ Chanagun Arpornsutinan publicly called out a fellow actor for allegedly trying to get with his ex-girlfriend. But – and in true dramatic fashion – the former GMMTV actor stopped short of naming the other guy, but instead dropped several hints about his identity.

The online Nancy Drews got to work faster than you can say “escandalo” and narrowed it down to one ‘August’ Vachiravit Paisarnkulwong, whose agency initially warned against creating untrue rumours. It would be barely hours after the identity reveal that ‘August’ and his agency publicly apologised for the matter. Did we mention this all happened within a span of three days or so?
